From time to time I will be reviewing membership sites. For each review I’ll look at things like how often the content is updated, how active the owner is, the quality of the content and the overall ‘look and feel’ of the membership site.

Review - Niche Mania

If you’ve been marketing with AdSense sites for a while you will remember the many template packages that were (and still are) available. You get a bunch of sites for a fairly cheap cost. The downside is that thousands of other people also get these same sites and you risk having your site flagged and/or de-listed by some of the search engines because it is far from unique.
Enter Niche Mania! Big Mike pioneered the idea of creating AdSense sites but limiting the available quantity to avoid the wrath of the search engines. Each site that you purchase is only made available to 30 buyers. This is a great way of ensuring that you have quality content that is pretty much unique as far as the search engines are concerned.
These are very attractive sites as well. Professionally designed and filled with articles that are written specifically for each site.
The Niche Mania membership model is quite unique. Instead of paying your monthly amount and getting ‘x’ number of sites per month, you get a quantity of ‘Niche Bucks’ which you can use on Adsense sites, XSitePro sites, scripts, e-books and articles. There is also an active member forum where you can discuss your success, problems etc with others. It’s a great system that allows the member much more flexibility than some similar sites.
On top of the excellent sites and other products that you can spend your Niche Bucks on, there are also some very useful tools in the member area. These include a link cloaker, a site builder (yes, you can ‘roll your own’ sites) and a range of research tools.
I really can’t think of any negatives to be honest. Big Mike and his team are all very dedicated professionals who deliver a great service.

Review - Turbo Membership
It’s difficult to know where to start or how to explain exactly what Turbo Membership is. I tend to think of it as the ‘Grand-daddy’ of Internet marketing membership sites. It’s a lot more than a membership site though … it’s a complete system. Turbo Membership provides pretty much everything you need from web hosting to autoresponders and marketing tools to monthly products. I’ve been wanting to do a review about it for a while now but I do have a confession to make. I’ve been a member there for the past 3 months and have really only glanced over what’s available and have only recently started to use the site as is intended by the owner. It’s an important consideration. Turbo Membership is an ideal ‘vehicle’ to get you all of the tools, training and products you need to build an online business but you absolutely must take action right from day one.
When you first log in it can be a little bit daunting, even for someone like myself who has been lurking around the Internet for over 15 years. Having said that, I should also say that it becomes a lot less daunting once you start reading what’s in front of you and following the instructions that are provided. It is all there … everything you need to know in order to get your Internet business set up, but Turbo Membership is not a site where you can get started with a few cursory glances. Turbo Membership is, moreso than most membership sites, a place where you can (and many already have) achieve success but you absolutely must follow the instructions and guides that are provided.
I remember when I first saw the sale page for Turbo Membership around 6 months ago. My first thought was that it seemed a bit pricey. Once you realise what’s there and start to use the tools and resources, the cost is quite insignificant. There are many membership sites that have a higher monthly fee but deliver considerably less. When you also consider that you don’t really need any other paid memberships then you may find that Turbo Membership actually saves you quite a lot of money.
I tend to like ’stuff’ which is probably why I’m a bit of a membership site ‘junky’ but to be honest, whilst the monthly products are high quality scripts, e-books, articles etc I’m finding that I’m gaining the most value from the ‘TM University’ Lessons and the ‘Blue Workbook’. These resources set out all the information you need to know if you want to get a website up and running and get your business started. Being an Internet ‘old guy’ the website and setup part wasn’t something I needed to learn … bit the lessons and tips about things like how to organise your existing products (such as resell rights, PLR etc) and how to organise yourself and your day … these are the lessons that I’m getting the most value out of. That’s probably about all I can say for now. I’ll most likely update this review once I’ve completed the workbook and the university lessons. All in all, Turbo Membership is ‘the full package’. If you are able to focus and commit to the lessons and information then I am very confident that it will lead to a successful Internet business. I’ll have more to say on that in a month or two…

Review - AutomaticNicheProfits
AutomaticNicheProfits is one of the ‘new breed’ of membership sites providing monthly pre-built private label website ‘packages’. You may have seen some sales pages for these types of memberships which provide the web templates, articles for content, e-books, auto-responders … pretty much everything you would need for a niche site.
I joined Paul’s Private Rights Success membership site several months ago and it taught me an important lesson. You’ve heard the saying ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. Well, I’m afraid I did and my first impression back then was one of disappointment. The site looked just like any old marketers blog so I had a bit of a peruse and then left it at that. Had I looked beyond the ‘cover’ I may have discovered much earlier that Paul provides what I consider to be the most complete niche site packages currently available.
When Paul launched AutomaticNicheProfits, those of us lucky enough to have a membership at Private Rights Success automatically gained access at no extra cost. It was at this point that I actually took the time to have a look at what Paul was offering in his packages. Here’s a run-down of what you get in a typical package:
- E-Book with Sales Letter
- Complete Website
- Editable (PSD) Graphics
- Flash/MP Presentation
- Articles
- Autoresponder Series
- Audio Files.
Because these packages are so complete, it means that there is very little work to do before you have these very attractive niche sites up and running. You will probably want to change the articles a little and make a few tweaks and alterations to avoid any duplication penalties for the search engines. If you do need to make changes but lack the confidence to dabble with the HTML etc, Paul has also provided a huge number of training videos that cover everything you would ever want or need to do.
Quality is always an important factor. Ugly web sites are less likely to interest your potential customers than well presented sites. The quality of the sites provided by AutomaticNicheProfits is better than several other similar memberships that I have looked at. That’s understating it really … the graphics are stunning, the audios sound very professional and the articles and content are unique and of the highest quality also.
I honestly can’t find any flaws or glitches with AutomaticNicheProfits so with that in mind it gets the very first, and certainly well deserved, perfect score!
Membership to AutomaticNicheProfits is limited to 500 members and according to the current sales page there are fewer than 100 places left. If pre-built niche sites are what you are looking for then I’d say don’t walk … run to the AutomaticNicheProfits web site right now while there are some places still available.

Review - Portal Labs Secure Delivery
Portal Labs is a secure delivery service. A secure delivery service provides a means for you to deliver electronic products without having to set up the payment processing on your own site. You still need to have an account with one of the supported processors, but it saves you the hassle of having to set up a method to deliver the product after payment is made. Quite often when you are given re-sell rights to a product the web site that comes with the product provides a ‘thank-you’ page on which you place links to the product(s) being sold. This is completely insecure. Anyone who purchases the software now knows the URL to the software and can give that URL out to others. With services such as Portal Labs your files are uploaded to a secure area on the Portal Labs server. Your customers are provided a ‘masked’ URL which can be set up to only allow a certain number of downloads over a specific period of time.
I found the Portal Labs service very easy to use. The description of each of the required fields is very clear and additional help is provided. Setting up a product is a three step process where you provide a product name, product sales details such as a product ID, cost etc and then you are given the choice of several buttons or a text link. All button code is provided so even when you get to the point where you need to place the payment link on your own site, the actual code is provided making it a simple ‘copy and paste’.
The server speed is quite fast and the options you have for your product include a limited product quantity, meaning you can choose to sell only a certain quantity and the Portal Labs server will keep track and prevent further sales after the limit is reached.
Statistics are provided which show you how many people initiated a sale as well as how many sales were completed. This is quite handy as it shows how many people went to the checkout page but did not complete the payment process. You can also include your own statistics code such as Google Analytics by simply pasting the code into a field that is provided during setup.
All in all, Portal Labs is a solid, well featured service that has an intuitive interface that is very easy to use. The only feature I did miss which I have found on similar services is the ability to test the actual file download link that the customer would see after paying.

Review - OneStopWebShop.com
First up, I asked Candace to tell us a little about herself, the membership site and what was in store for the future.

The Site
OneStopWebShop.com is an easy site to navigate. All content groups are linked from the main member page (see screenshot below). The first thing you notice when you log in is the broad range of products, items and content that are provided. If you are like me, and already have several memberships, you will see some e-books and software that are available on other sites. This is unavoidable of course, but I did find that there were many e-books and products that I hadn’t seen on other sites. The adsense websites that are provided are neat, original and well laid out niche sites. One of the features of the web site that I particularly like is the amount of work that has been put in to allow the adsense sites to be previewed, and the images, information and previews that have been provided for many of the products and content. In addition to the ‘traditional’ content there are also affiliate turnkey sites, amazon shop sites, online training, forums and a host of other features. The site name ‘OneStopWebShop’ is an apt title for a site that over delivers on content and features.
Since joining this site just 6 or 7 weeks ago I have seen regular updates and additions to the site and content. That’s always important of course, as you don’t want to be paying a monthly subscription fee for a site that doesn’t get updated.
In summary , OneStopWebShop.biz is definitely amongst the top few sites for value. It is a neat site that is regularly updated by a committed, active owner who obviously has some serious long term plans for this site.
