Don’t Believe The Hype
The fact is that there are some wonderful sales pages out there telling you how this membership site and that membership site is going to make you a huge income. Don’t believe what you read on a sales page. Period. Before you join ANY membership site, do a search for reviews and visit internet marketing forums. Ask if anyone knows about the membership site you are interested in.

I agree. In fact, I don’t really don’t have a ’sales page’. Sure, I make some claims but I back them up with facts and then go about delivering those few promises I do make to my paid members. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that I strive to provided them with such value for their money, that most of them are very reluctant to tell anyone else about the site. When a miner strikes gold, the last thing he wants to do is publicize the claim for fear that too many people will realize what a great find has been made and then steal all the gold for themselves. So, while I do agree to a point, whether or not ‘anyone knows’ or has heard about a membership site does not necessarily determine it’s value or worth. Sites like EBay were not always mega conglomerate. Just like the thousands of other small, low budget and no budget sites online, they were/are just a hobby at best because they generate no measurable revenue. What makes them stand out and become the hot topic of forums, social bookmarking and blogs, is the superior service they deliver to their customers. I believe that despite my sites name being on the lips of the masses, the caring and service I provide will soon be rewarded because after all, I’d much rather have fortune than fame.
